If you like Bright Eyes, especially his recent stuff, you will probably like the sounds of Los Angeles trio Biirdie (I know I do). And it is not just because the vocals have that quakey connor feeling. Listen to their song "Him" off there upcoming album Catherine Avenue set to drop on Love Minus Zero January 22. It is sort of California alt-country-rock and who doesn't like that. It is unconfirmed but by the music these guys play I would say that the title "Him" may be a nod to Gram Parsons "She".Listen:
